WELCOME TO STURGIS

Sturgis is a welcoming community to raise a family, retire or to get away to some of the greatest fishing, hunting and outdoor adventure near the Porcupine Forest!

The Town of Sturgis is teeming with heritage and is surrounded by picturesque, natural beauty. The Assiniboine River, located on the south side of town, meanders through the natural wilderness park, a favourite desination spot for many campers from near and far who enjoy canoeing and fishing. The natural wilderness attraction of the Porcupine Forest, located just to the north of town, offers excellent big game trophy hunting and fishing opportunities. Snowmobiling on the well-groomed trails during the winter months is second to none in the province!  Golfing, boating, and swimming in the summer months rounds out the recreational possibilities for the year. The Sturgis Regional Park and campground is a great attraction for many tourists and a favourite place to gather and relax for residents. During the hot days of summer, the town's Kiddies Spray Park is a huge hit with the kids. Every season the Town is alive with a different event organized by one of our many dedicated community organizations.

Sturgis is an exceptionally beautiful community in which to live and to visit.
