Sturgis is a welcoming community to raise a family, retire or to get away to some of the greatest fishing, hunting and outdoor adventure near the Porcupine Forest!

The Town of Sturgis is teeming with heritage and is surrounded by picturesque, natural beauty. The Assiniboine River, located on the south side of town, meanders through the natural wilderness park, a favourite desination spot for many campers from near and far who enjoy canoeing and fishing. The natural wilderness attraction of the Porcupine Forest, located just to the north of town, offers excellent big game trophy hunting and fishing opportunities. Snowmobiling on the well-groomed trails during the winter months is second to none in the province!  Golfing, boating, and swimming in the summer months rounds out the recreational possibilities for the year. The Sturgis Regional Park and campground is a great attraction for many tourists and a favourite place to gather and relax for residents. During the hot days of summer, the town's Kiddies Spray Park is a huge hit with the kids. Every season the Town is alive with a different event organized by one of our many dedicated community organizations. 

Sturgis is an exceptionally beautiful community in which to live and to visit.

Public Skating Schedule posted at the Arena or on the Town’s Facebook page. Time’s may change due to hockey games!

Mon./Wed./Fri.- General skating 6:45pm-8:00pm. Shinny 8:00pm-9:30pm. Tues./Thurs.- Figure Skating till 7:00. Shinny 7:30-9:00. Sat./closed.

Sundays-2:00pm-3:00pm General skating.

 3:00pm-4:00pm Shinny.

7:00pm-8:00pm General skating,

8:00pm-9:00pm Shinny.

Season rates§ Family $100, § Adult $65,

§ Student $50 Daily rates:  $3.00.

Please pay James your fees prior to skating.

Pickle Ball

Looking for any persons interested in PICKLE BALL

Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball.

 Come out and learn how to play, get some exercise and meet new people. Great for any age.

Wednesday's at the Sturgis Composite Gym, 7:00pm.

District Sask. Senior's Whist Tournament - Friday March 27th @ 10:00am
Cards, Coffee and Socializing - Wednesday's at 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Open Sunday's from 2:00 - 4:00pm for cards, pool, shuffleboard, coffee and visiting.

2020 Pet Licences Due

Cats And Dogs - Cartoon Picture Images Please come into the office by January 31, 2020 to licence your dog or cat for 2020. If your pet is reported running at large without a licence, barking, or defecates on public or private property (other than it's owner's), fines will be implemented.  Please respect your neighbours and keep your pet secure at all times.
