There are currently just under 650 residents who call Sturgis home, with the growth we experience being attributed to the attraction of the astounding beauty of the area. 

 Sturgis hosts an active Senior’s Centre, a K-12 school with many sports and a variety of other extracurricular activities, a skating arena, a curling rink, a museum, and a public library. Not to mention a personal care home and an amazing Family Resource Centre with many activities always taking place. The 1-2-3 Care For Me Day Care is a tremendous asset to the town and provides a valuable service for the families of Sturgis and the surrounding area. The numerous local organizations that promote the town are run by a host of dedicated volunteers.
