“MEADOW ESTATES”

A New Subdivision Located Within the Town ofSturgis, SK

Parcel “N” as depicted on the enclosed map is an area approximately 20 acres in size located within the Town of Sturgis and owned by the town. The area shown in green is native woodland and the interior yellow portion is native grassland (occasionally hayed). The Town of Sturgis is considering developing this area into a new subdivision because of the following reasons:

·        A strong local interest from several families to build a new home on a larger lot.

·        Outside interests mainly from Alberta and British Columbia.

·        Fully serviced half acre lots are tremendously attractive, especially located in a quiet, safe and secure neighbourhood.

This proposed subdivision is in its initial stages, a conceptual plan has been drafted by Altus Geomatics (surveyors) but no final cost estimates have been calculated as of yet, therefore  no actual cost estimates can be established for each lot. As soon as the total costs to survey, develop and service the subdivision are known, costs per lot will be calculated and then posted on this site as soon as possible.

Your name will be added to a list, if the desire and interest warrant development, the Town of Sturgis will expect a deposit prior to making application for subdivision approval from the Government of Saskatchewan, Government (Municipal) Relations Branch.
